garageguy879: I've been looking at this in 20 gauge, most call it the SA20 but the model
number says M920,,beautiful shotgun
monster max: Is it alright to keep your ammo in the magazine; will it damage the spring
in the Mossberg 930?
OMie Ginah: God dammm long ass spring is that ..:)
Richard Recupero: My wife just bought one tonight. Looks nice!
A Steiner: Nice semi-auto for the money, who needs a over priced Benelli M4..
djalkaline1: I am looking to get a 930 not sure between the standard or the spx without
pistol grip as I will prob get the new ATI Raven stock. One question is
can the rear ghost ring sight be removed easily from the rail, I may run an
optic or may just want to run a front giber optic only, not a big fan of
peep sights. Thanks for any info you can offer on this. Great vid
bubblefish17: Nice video, thinking to get one of these, thank you! :)
turbotransam1980: These better than a Remington 1100?
John Wayne: I have to say that, at first look, having the safety up so high was a
concern of mine, but in a training exercise with a M16 using blank rounds,
I have had the thumb of my nomex glove snag on the safety selector switch
which prevented me from engaging my target and caused my teammates to have
to drag back their "dead" battle buddy and his gear til the end of the
exercise. Obviously you probably wouldnt be wearing gloves in a home
defense scenario (but you might when hunting in cold weather) but I like a
safety that is out of the way bc I have had the safety switch on my M16
move to the fire position while carrying it in a 2 pt sling.
Bob Shore: Great video, I have this same shotgun. Works well, no issue at all. Part
of me would rather have the traditional stock then the pistol grip. I
think I do get a bit more control with the pistol grip but the safety
position is not great for the pistol grip, as you have pointed out. over
all, yes, I like it and would recommend it. For home defense I have a
double coach gun by my bed and a Mossberg 500 close by. I think I am well
Joffery Stone: Great review! Thanks! Just got this exact shot gun in a trade! My first
Mossberg 930 SPX ( been a longtime Rem.870 guy for decades) What's funny
is I was just getting ready to purchase a Mossberg 930 JM tactical for 3
gun competition when this opportunity came along for this SPX model in a
trade deal. I cant wait to get it out on the range!!! (still gonna get
the 930 JM model too) I think I am becoming Mossberg buy ! lol
Frank Colucci: I am a new subscriber. Really like your reviews simple and right to the
TheMetalViking666: very good video! these videos are the best when you wanna do your research.
John Grey: Best to dry lube an auto SG: Graphite, powdered Teflon, etc - keeps carbon
from getting a hold on gas port(s). 930's, 1100 & 11-87 Remington have a
demand for very clean, dry gas ports.Additionally a quality mag spring in a
tube-mag type SG is a good idea: most anyone one who has kept a tube loaded
for long periods with full compliment of shells will tell you that carbon
steel springs wear fast. Wolf Springs sells a great many surgical steel
springs that stay "springy". The same type of chrome-moly z type steel was
actually used in WWII for many springs (1911 mags!). Discovered in the
Good, professional, simple video; nicely done.
PharmaTaco: When in doubt, start over.
Patrick Felice: great video!! i cant wait to pick one up
Ryan Nueva: Great video. Silly question - how do you remove the ghost ring? Thanks!
monster max: I shot my Mossberg 930 spx for the first time. After a while i notice that
when I load the gun again. I didn't get the spring resistance. Like you do
when you put load your weapon. Like the spring wasn't there and the bucks
was just sliding in with no tension. And the gun wouldn't feed. Can you
help me with that?
GreatToastMigration: When I first looked down the sights of one of these I was amazed at how
good the sight picture was. The sights are amazing.
John C: Great review . Have you had any problems with this shotgun ????
Ricochet Rabbit: I bought the Mossberg 930 SPX. After 6 shots I noticed the trigger group
was so loose the safety would not work properly. After another 6 rounds
the shell elevator stuck halfway up against the receiver wall. It also was
very loose. Mossberg will not respond to emails, and several calls went
unanswered. I now know why my department buys Remington s. Google loose
trigger on Mossberg 930 and you will find plenty of folks with the same
problems and no solutions. Does anyone know any folks at Mossberg that can
CrucibleArms: Go to your local gun shop. If they don't have it, they can order it for you.
JUS1ONTHEBEAT: Excellent video! Thanks!
BlownChevelle: I love mine, its a bit heavy with everything I have on it, but nothing that
can't be managed. Great vid!
CrucibleArms: Excellent choice in shotgun my friend.
Derka Derka Jihad: not everyones gonna automatically think they heard a gun wrack. their gonna
think, what the hell was that clicking noise. not everyone is a gun person
and if the criminal is a gun person your gonna have a shooutout on your
woodturningjohn: Birthday wish list :)
igrinder88: I wish all YouTube videos were as efficient and concise!
dc pinner: I had a hard time deciding b/w this and the 930 JM Pro series. I liked the
bead, so I just went with the JM Pro. Both seem great!
michoi2: Excelent review, verry detailed, convinced this will be my first gun.
spookypunky: I think under stress, I'd forget to rack a pump action and would prefer an
auto. I'm on the market for my first 12 gauge.
NoGlockTrucker: I know some people think Mossbergs are not good shotguns. I have owned a
couple 500's and they have always worked and with the safety on the top of
receiver work well for left handed shooters like my son.
Adam Leate: If you put the magazine follower in backwards like that you lower capacity
by one. I learned the hard way. I couldn't fit the last round in until I
switched the follower around.
Hotstuff Threesome Productions: one thought, i pull out the gas rings on hte beggining of the gas system,
brush and light lube, asa well as if it very crudy take the "piston rings"
off too clean, what do you think
Bill Kunert: MSRP? AND thank you so much for catching and correcting when you said
orientate (pet peeve) and use orient instead. I am a retired mapmaker and
for some reason that bugs me
Mike ts: Thx for the video this will be my next purchase . Just curious do you think
this will fire Law Enforcement ammo ?.
WhatHavU: i just purchased this bad boy... cant wait to try it out after the waiting
period.. its a beauty
teecuzbruh: nice vid,,,I like my 930 SPX. I've never tried to ghost load though.
Dave Hudson: How do you feel about the Remington 870 for a home defense weapon? Just
wondering if you've owned one and if you have a comparison opinion. Thanks!
love your videos!!
Lu(ky: I could not find these in stock anywhere in California so I finally found
2 x of them in Florida and bought them. Waiting now for my 10 days. Also
check out the accessories to buy for this gun below go to Elite Tactical
Advantage Product>Shotguns>Mossberg>930 Stuff or Google Mossberg 930 SPX
Bobcat and see this gun on steroids..
TheFireArmGuy: This video is exactly what I needed. Been looking at the 930 spx for a
while but needed to know if it would cycle light loads. Thanks - great
bkross83: I ghost loaded and now my house is haunted
trainman549: IMHO a scarier sound is the soft click of the safety coming off, that is
one of the two sounds any intruder will hear from my gun.
Johnny Lewis: My wife's 930 tactical cycles perfectly with cheap walmart 100 pack bird
Cert: Building stuff is always in my family gene. My dad is a new york auto technician and taught me everything I need to know about cars. Now I sell car parts online to suppliment my income. So it does help when there's good guidance.
